Meet Sadie and Stacie

Sadie Eirich is a high school student who loves art, theater, music, animals, friends and family. A St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patient and pediatric brain cancer survivor, Sadie paints, crafts and writes to express emotions, creativity and to help get through treatment. Sadie’s artwork appeared in the Spring 2024 Teen Edition of Inlandia: A Literary Journey, and is also displayed in the Teen Art Show at St. Jude. Sadie’s first published poem appeared in Ice Lolly Review, Issue XIV, in February 2023.

Stacie Eirich is a mother of two, writer and singer. A former Library Associate and English Instructor, her poetry and short prose have been published in literary journals, magazines and anthologies. She has also written and published a children’s fantasy series, titled: The Dream Chronicles. Her child, Sadie, is a pediatric brain cancer survivor and patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Writing, music and art are creative ways to light through darkness, and Stacie shares her verses and voice for awareness, for healing, and with hope in a cancer-free future for all children.
