improving the lives of children through the art of storytelling
If My Bear Could Talk
When a little girl discovers that her daddy has cancer, she turns to her teddy bear for comfort. He listens to her when she needs a friend and holds her in his arms when she cries. He helps her through the night when she feels frightened and alone. And now that she is all grown up, she cherishes the memory of his comfort in her life. This little story is a wonderful view into the heart of a child and the beauty of having a faithful companion. Her bear might not be “real”, but in a way, he’s very, very “real” and much loved.
